• Famagusta, a district still mostly under Turkish occupation features the island’s most beautiful beaches and various sites of great historic value. Unfortunately, the city itself has been largely abandoned since the war.
• The ruins of Salamis, the ancient capital of Cyprus, which was largely destroyed in the 4th century.
• The Church of St. Barnabas, the founder of the Orthodox Church in Cyprus.
• The city of Famagusta and the Venetian walls that surround the old town.
• The gothic Church of St. Nicholas.
• Free time in the Turkish bazaar.
• Time for swimming will be allowed at the golden beaches of Famagusta, around 2 hrs.
• Returning we will pass and view the closed town of Famagusta.

AUTHENTIC CYPRUS

• During this tour you can discover the diversity of our island’s countryside passing through various villages, each one with its distinctive rural character.
• We will visit the Saint Lazarus church in the centre of Larnaca town. This church dates back to 9th century.
• The tour then continues to Christoudia Winery for wine testing. Winery in a perfect combination of traditional and modern style, surrounded by vineyards of only Cypriot grape varieties.
• We will visit Kato Drys Bee & Embroidery Museum dedicated to olden-day village life and traditional industries and pastimes. 300-year-old residence, the Bee & Embroidery Museum features over 1000 exhibits that showcase villager’s daily life through the ages
