ANCIENT WORLD – MYTHS & LEGENDS
• A wonderful combination of religious history, archaeology, mythology, and stroll along the sea.
• On this tour we will visit the 12th century citykingdom of Curium with its fully restored GrecoRoman amphitheatre.
• Petra tou Romiou, the legendary birthplace of the ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite, is our next stop.
• In Paphos, we will visit St. Paul’s Pillar, the remnants of an impressive byzantine basilica 4th AD church, where it is said that St. Paul was tied to it and lashed by the Roman governor of Paphos.
• We will discover the House of Dionysos with its world-famous 3rd century AD mosaics.
• We will have Free time at Paphos harbour and castle area.
• The famous ‘Tombs of the Kings’ form part of the Archaeological Park of Kato Paphos – one of the most important archaeological sites of Cyprus that as been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list since 1980 – is our next stop.
The monumental underground tombs are carved out of solid rock and date back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods.

PEARLS OF NORTH CYPRUS
• This is one of the most popular tourist routes in Cyprus, which includes a tour to the Turkish-occupied sunny part of the island.
• First we will reach the famous ‘ghost town – Famagusta’, a zone untouched by human legs for over 40 years.
• Heading towards the coast, we will discover the picturesque Kyrenia, commonly knows as the Garden of Cyprus. Then we will get to see the harbour from the 9th century, and the castle, which is often beaten by the blue waves of the Mediterranean.
• The final location of the program is located on the slopes of Pentadaktylos, which offers spectacular views of the country sunk in greenery.

- TUESDAY
AUTHENTIC CYPRUS
• During this tour you can discover the diversity of our island’s countryside passing through various villages, each one with its distinctive rural character.
• We will visit Agios Minas located in the village of Vavla and dates back to the 15th century.
• The tour then continues to Christoudia Winery for wine testing. Winery in a perfect combination of traditional and modern style, surrounded by vineyards of only Cypriot grape varieties.
• We will visit Kato Drys Bee & Embroidery Museum dedicated to olden-day village life and traditional industries and pastimes.
300-year-old residence, the Bee & Embroidery Museum features over 1000 exhibits that showcase villager’s daily life through the ages.
• Aferwards, we will enjoy a traditional Cypriot meze at local tavern in Vavatsinia village.
• Following the lunch, we will go to Lefkara which is famous for handmade lace known as “Lefkaritika” and also its silverware. We will visit a local embroidery and jewellery workshops and have some free time for a stroll.
